I am now very happy to offer a service to design and print custom parts to repair various items, or solve a range of problems.

3D Printing is rapidly becoming more popular, with a range of printers for home use and a huge catalogue of models and pre-designed items. For me the real appeal is in repairing things with spare parts that you can’t get, or designing custom parts to solve specific problems. For this, the technology is really fantastic.

I am able to print with a range of materials, and am always looking to expand. It’s important to choose the right material for the right job, and this forms just one part of successfully solving a problem.

Problem - What is the problem? Is a part broken that needs to be replaced? or missing?

Can it be fixed? - Some items will work well, some may be too specialist. There is always an element of uncertainty and it’s not a fix all solution.
